Extensions Configuration

  • 1. Advanced Color Swatches

    • Product details page

      IMPORTANT!:For attributes to appear on the lists, you need to configure the value "Use To Create Configurable Product" to Yes in Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes.

      • Display Swatches

        Configurable attributes to display as SWATCHES in the product details page.

      • Display Child Products Images

        Display CHIlD PRODUCTS as swatches options in the product details page, instead of color swatches or text labels.

      • Labels

        Configurable attributes to display as LABELS instead of select boxes in the product details page.

      • Hide Select

        Hide the default SELECT option and display only the swatches or labels in the product details page.

      • Select first option

        Show the first available option of the first configurable attribute as selected.

      • Switch Images

        Chage the main image when an option is chosen for this attributes.

      • Load child product gallery

        Choose whether to display images from the product gallery (faster) or from the child products.

      • Show out of stock options

        Will show options that are out of stock, with the options greyed out.

    • Product List

      • Swatches in Products List

        Configurable attribute to display as SWATCHES in the products list page.
        IMPORTANT!: you need to configure the value "Use To Create Configurable Product" to Yes in Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes.

      • Event

        Switch product image in the list when moving the mouse over the swatches or when clicking them.

      • Swatches in Products List Mode

        Display swatches or pictures of the child products.

      • Images source object

        Choose whether to display images from the product gallery (faster) or from the child products.

      • Show availability list

        Configurable attribute to display as a LIST of available options, without switching images.
        IMPORTANT!: you need to configure the value "Use To Create Configurable Product" to Yes in Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes.

      • Alternate Image Attribute

        To show and alternate image on product image hover, enter the attribute code of the gallery image to be used as alternate image. You need to create first a product attribute of type "image", and then enter the code here. Empty to not use this effect.

    • Layered Navigation

      IMPORTANT!: you need to configure the value "Use In Layered Navigation" to Yes in Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes.

      • Links and Swatches

        Configurable attributes to display as SWATCHES in the layered navigation.

      • Show swatches without labels

        Configurable attributes to display as SWATCHES in the layered navigation without any text label.

      • Switch images

        Change the images in the product list based on the option selected in the layered navigation if the attribute is used to display swatches.

      • Override default template

        Override default catalog/layer/view.phtml and catalog/layer/filter.phtml files in order to display links with swatches.
        You could also copy the code directly in your theme files.

    • Checkout

      • Override images in cart

        Display images from the parent product gallery based on the attributes selection and based on the attributes chosen in the "Switch Image" field, instead of showing the child/parent product thumbnail (Magento default) .

  • 2. Ajax Layered Navigation and Price Slider

    • Show filters no-count

      Show filter options even when count=0. Warning: The filters list can be too long.

    • Show layered navigation state

      Hide/Show Selected layered navigation items above the layered navigation links.

    • Expand attribute filters

      Enter attribute codes separated by commas, these attributes expanded by default on the layered navigation block. e.g.: color,price,size

    • Price Slider : Round Step Value

      Round prices to a multiple of X.

  • 3. Ajax Add To Cart

    • Enabled

    • Show summary

      Display cart summary on the confirmation popup

    • Qty. Form

      Display qty. form for simple products before adding to cart.

  • 4. Quick View

    • Enabled

      Display quick view button when hovering the images in the products list/grid.

    • Columns proportion

      The quickview page shows 2 columns: images on the left and the product description on the right. The available space uses a grid of 12 columns, you can enter how many columns each section will use, for instance, 6:6 ( equal width) , 8:4 ( wider image ) or 5:7 ( the right column will be wider).
